Amazing how people are like caterpillars spending their life in an illusion eating up all they can. Becoming fat on (off of) material reality (possessions‚ vanity‚ power‚ money‚ fornications‚ food‚ etc.‚ etc.). All the while being useless eaters while they help eat up (over consume) the illusion around them never really getting anywhere knowing in the end that everything will be left behind in death and thus their whole life was "striving after the wind." All the while losing themselves to the demands and expectations of their society forgetting that there is more to life. More to their evolution as an individual and as a species. That they do not have to die in vain but can cocoon themselves from the illusion and learn to be more then a material child / human (caterpillar) which is what the New Testament is all about. How to die / cocoon yourself and then resurrect as a butterfly. But in order to do so one has to stop "eating" and start learning who they are by coming back to the source and then rebuilding (resurrecting) themselves to be more than human (or to be what a real human actually is supposed to be when it is evolved) similar to how a caterpillar rebuilds itself while in the cocoon to become a butterfly. This is the reason a lot of saints used to be hermits. Spiritual hermits are people who are cocooning. Just as Jesus cocooned for 40 days and nights in the dessert. Thus it is time to stop dying to an illusion when you can instead become a butterfly through resurrection.
People can also be compared to tadpoles as their resurrection turns to frogs. First they swim in water (the womb). Then they grow legs and hop (give birth) out of the water to breath air and walk on land. The caterpillar crawls (like a baby) and then it transform (awakens – ascends – evolves completely) into a butterfly. But a human is different in that it has all of the qualities of the tadpole and caterpillar. As a tadpole humans were first sperm. Then like a from we changed and grew legs and arms. Then we became like the caterpillar and crawled. And now it is up to our free will to become like butterfly’s by mastering our spirit (higher self) and soul (human self) to evolve into what one would consider an angel or a god in which through self mastery a human can have the heart to use such power righteously. Then we will have what the frogs and butterfly’s lack. Eternity.
